Freshwater Pearls:  These pretty pearls are found in freshwater mussels as opposed to saltwater oysters.  Unbelievably, a single mussel can produce up to 50 pearls.  Pearls are said to attune the wearer to the ebb and flow of life.  They calm, center, and give purity.  In addition it is believed that they promote faith, charity, integrity, truth and loyalty.
